Our Family Permaculture Sanctuary

Nurturing the soil, giving back to nature.

Welcome to Girija Farm Fresh. Nestled in the hills of Amba, Kolhapur, we are four family members dedicated to building a chemical-free ecosystem. For us, taking care of the soil biology is our primary calling—our hand-churned ghee and spices are simple, pure gifts from a restored, healthy landscape.

Our Primary Crop is the Soil

Co-existing with the land in Amba

We believe true health starts with taking care of the soil biology and giving back to nature. Nestled in the Western Ghats, we are four family members restoring our land through closed-loop permaculture.

Our Core Principles

The three ethics of permaculture.

We guide our daily work and decisions in Amba by the core ethics of permaculture, ensuring our actions restore the earth and support our community.

Earth Care

Rebuilding soil biology, conserving rainwater, and welcoming native flora and fauna to restore and preserve our land's natural health.
